At Premier Dermatology, we currently have 5 dermatology practitioners and a licensed aesthetician to care for you and your family. We are supported by an excellent staff of certified medical assistants, front desk personnel, and billing specialists, many of whom have been working with us for decades. The providers and staff work together closely to bring you top-notch service and medical care. Many patients have been with our most experienced providers for over 30 years, as we have continued to care for their children, grandchildren, family members and friends.

    Premier Dermatology

    Dr. Grace Chung is the founder of Premier Dermatology in Haddon Heights, NJ, formerly known as Woodbury Dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Smith College before attending medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in New York. Dr. Chung then spent two years training in internal medicine at SUNY University before completing her residency training in dermatology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the New Jersey Dermatology Society.

    Dr. Chung opened Woodbury Dermatology in 1991 in Woodbury, NJ to serve patients in the South Jersey community. She served as an inpatient consult attending at Underwood Memorial Hospital for nearly 30 years in addition to maintaining her outpatient practice. In 2020, she moved the practice to Haddon Heights, NJ and renamed the practice to Premier Dermatology. She specializes in medical dermatology, focusing on skin cancer management. She is a skilled dermatologic surgeon, performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox®, and utilizes laser/light-based devices.

    As an assistant professor at Rowan College of Medicine, Dr. Chung stays on the cutting edge of her field. She has been regularly teaching family medicine residents and medical students for the past 3 decades. An esteemed member of the community, Dr. Chung has been voted as a 'Top Doc' numerous times in South Jersey magazine, Philadelphia magazine and U.S. News. She is an active volunteer at her church, has led numerous overseas medical mission trips, and is an ardent supporter of the non-profit organization Urban Promise that supports the youth of Camden, NJ.

    Dr. Kenneth Herman has been practicing Dermatology and Dermatopathology in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area since 1990. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed a family practice residency, a dermatology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, and a dermatopathology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.  He is also a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology.

    In 1997, Dr. Herman joined Dr. Chung in practice. He worked as a consult attending at Underwood Memorial Hospital to diagnose and treat acutely ill patients while at Woodbury Dermatology. In addition to caring for patients in clinical dermatology, he is a skilled practicing dermatopathologist (reading slides of biopsy specimens to diagnose skin cancer and other dermatologic conditions). He also specializes in dermatologic surgery for benign and malignant neoplasms.

    In his spare time, Dr. Herman enjoys classical music, camping, travel, playing piano, and physical fitness.

    Dr. Christina Patrone joined Premier Dermatology in December 2022. She is a board certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

    Dr. Patrone comes from a unique background as a former music major at Columbia College, Columbia University where she graduated cum laude. After several years as a recording artist, she changed career paths to pursue medicine. She attended Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons for her medical degree and completed a fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology with Dr. Larisa Geskin, with a focus on cutaneous T-cell lymphomas.

    Dr. Patrone went on to complete a Transitional Year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by her Dermatology Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she served as a Chief Resident. She received excellent training in complex medical dermatology at Milstein Hospital, pediatric dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of New York, and cared for veterans at the Bronx Veterans Affairs Hospital. She has a strong background in clinical and basic science research, has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed academic journals, and has a passion for teaching.

    A versatile clinician, Dr. Patrone cares for patients within all aspects of dermatology, with a special interest in medical dermatology and cutaneous lymphoma. She performs dermatologic surgery along with cosmetic procedures including neurotoxins (i.e. Botox®), soft tissue augmentation (fillers), and laser/light-based devices. She is experienced in treating all skin types and ages, including children. After living in NYC for 20 years, she has finally returned home to South Jersey to join her mother.   • Shelly Schneider, APN

    Shelly Schneider, APN

    Haddon Heights, NJ Advanced Nurse Practitioner

    Premier Dermatology

    Shelly has been practicing dermatology since 2001 as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree at Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia, PA), and graduate degree from Rutgers University (Newark, NJ). She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and certified by the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA)

    Shelly is passionate about helping others and regularly attends educational meetings and conferences to stay current in the latest advances in Dermatology. In addition, she is a contributing author of two chapters in the text Pharmacotherapuetics for Advanced Practice: A Practical Approach, 5th Edition, 2020 by Archangelo, V. et al.

    When not working, Shelly maintains a regular yoga practice, and has completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training. She also enjoys time with her six grandchildren.

    Anna has been practicing as a board certified Physician Assistant since 2007. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

    She started her professional career in Emergency Medicine where she gained invaluable experience managing and caring for acutely ill patients. Performing numerous procedures in this setting, she honed her technical skills over the years. She also precepted a number of graduate Physician Assistant students for their Emergency Medicine clinical rotation.

    After practicing in Emergency Medicine for 7 years, Anna transitioned to academia, serving as an assistant professor and Academic Coordinator in a graduate Physician Assistant program. Her responsibilities involved coordinating and administering student learning activities during the didactic phase of the program in addition to committee and research participation. Anna also served as the faculty advisor for the Student Society focusing on promoting the PA profession, charity fundraising, and community service. She continued seeing patients in clinical practice on campus at the Student Health Center.

    Anna began training under Dr. Grace Chung in 2018 and officially joined the Premier Dermatology family a year later. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and has completed the Diplomate Fellowship training program achieving Diplomate Fellow status within the organization. She enjoys treating a variety of skin conditions, performing annual skin examinations, and utilizing the Neo Laser. She stays involved in teaching by giving Dermatology lectures to graduate PA students annually. She continues to stay up to date within her field by reading literature and attending conferences.

    In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

    Premier Dermatology

    Dana joined Premier Dermatology in 2012 as a Certified Medical Assistant. Her passion for skin care led her back to school in 2017 to become a Licensed Aesthetician. Dana specializes in recommending and customizing services for patients’ skincare concerns. Her years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant provides valuable medical context to her aesthetic practice. She assesses patient needs for in-office services as well as at-home skin care regimes. Dana is certified in many cosmetic services including Morpheus 8, Hydro Derm Facials, Dermapen microneedling, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and more.

    
When Dana is not at work helping patients, she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
